Are you ready to discover your family’s story?
Hi, I’m Kimberlie Guerrieri. I help people discover their family histories and solve family mysteries.
My interest in genealogy began as a child with a single word I often heard at my great-grandma’s large Italian Sunday suppers: GRIMALDI.
After the passing of my father at a young age and several elders, I inherited boxes of photos, documents, and lots of unanswered questions. Who were these people and how were they related? Why did my ancestors leave sunny Italy to mine coal in Colorado? When did they immigrate and why?
These questions and more started me on my own genealogy journey, eventually leading me to two remote southern Italian villages … where I discovered long lost relatives, the original spelling of my surname, a family relation to a King, and a dispute over a castle.
I am a professional genealogist with 15 years experience helping people discover their own family histories. After earning a B.A. double major in English and Political Science, I went on to earn an M.A. in Literature at San Jose State University and a Certificate in Genealogy from Boston University.
I am also a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, the National Genealogical Society, and the Southern California Genealogical Society. I abide by the standards as put forth in the Board for Certification of Genealogists' Code of Ethics and Conduct and the Association of Professional Genealogists' Code of Ethics.
Everyone has a story. Let’s discover yours!
